Integrative Developmental Engineering Division started!
Our life begins with fertilization and progresses through changes such as implantation, birth, growth, and aging, and this cycle is passed on to the next generation through the germ cells. This sequence of processes is called the “life cycle”. In our laboratory, we aim to elucidate various life phenomena in the life cycle by using developmental engineering technology with oocytes, sperm, and embryos, as well as genetic and epigenetic analysis technology. Furthermore, based on the knowledge obtained from these studies, we will contribute to establishing more advanced developmental engineering technologies to maintain and supply high-quality and reliable bioresources.
