IGH summer school on Genome Stability and Organization

Ms. Naomi WATANABE of our laboratory participated in the ” IGH summer school on Genome Stability and Organization” organized by the Sasakawa Foundation and co-organized by the Institute of Human Genetics, University of Montpellier (France), and gave a poster presentation and an oral presentation.

Title: Preservation of wild-derived mouse strains by nuclear transfer using peripheral blood cells

*Comment by Ms. Watanabe*
It was a stimulating week for me, as we were a group of young researchers, including French and Japanese doctoral students and post-doctoral fellows.
After the school, French students showed us around Montpellier, and we had dinner together.
We shared our problems that are unique to students, were surprised at the differences in research between France and Japan and had many other things that we could only have gained by participating in this summer school, making it a very meaningful time for us.
In short, I am very glad that I was able to participate in the summer school! I want to go to France again!
