The 53rd Japanese Society for Spermatology Meeting was held at Aobayama Commons Tohoku University Aobayama New Campus (Sendai, Miyagi).

Dr. Hino visited our laboratory for collaborative experiments with Ogonuki-san. He observed the chromosomes of the oocytes injected with spermatocytes and transfered his techniques to Ogonuki-san.

Dr. Rashmi Parihar from the Indian Institute of Technology came to BioResource Research Center (BRC) for a 3-week training course. She will set up the assisted reproductive technique system in her mouse facility. During the first week, Mochida-san and Hasegawa-san trained her for the basics of IVF and embryo/sperm freezing.
