Mr. Ken Kojima from the Tokyo Medical University Pre-clinical Research Center came to BRC to practice thawing frozen embryos. Now we can leave the thawing of frozen embryos to him at his center.

A tour of RIKEN Tsukuba branch was held for new administrative staff to be employed. They watched “real” mouse IVF and fertilized embryos in our lab.

Dr. Sayaka Wakayama and two students from the University of Yamanashi visited Tsukuba on 30 July to share the cryopreservation technology they are jointly developing. We hope that this will help us to make progress with our new space experiment project.
